Migrating ZigBee devices to Sonoff + ZHA?

Hey Everyone!

I’m looking to migrate my deCONZ ZigBee devices to my new Sonoff USB Dongle (hopefully) by simply unpairing and re-pairing the devices.

I’ve started with an Aquara temperature sensor, an Ikea motion sensor, and an Ikea remote. The devices now show up in ZHA, but they also show up in deCONZ. I’ve removed the devices from the Phoscon app, but the devices still show up as integrated from deCONZ and ZHA simultaneously. Home Assistant is now not collecting events from these devices even though they show up in the ZHA network map.

What is the proper way to unpair and re-pair ZigBee devices from one controller integration (deCONZ) to another (ZHA)?

Thanks for your help!!

If I try the “Reconfigure” button, the process fails. What else could be done?

Remove the integration deconz and reinstall

I would like to move some of the 23 devices now as a live-environment test and then move the others later if everything works out. If I remove the deCONZ integration, all devices and related automation must be immediately re-setup.

Is there no other way to migrate individual ZigBee devices from controller to controller other than nuking the old controller from orbit?

Thanks again!

I have the same dilema… Just paired my new dongle E and auto discovered few devices that were already paired with my conbee. I now have double entities on each device.
I can delete from Deconz and rename then delete but it will still show as integrated in both ZHA and Deconz…

So if someone has a better option, TIA!

I ended up deleting the deCONZ integration (which temporarily removed all associated deCONZ devices) and then re-adding it. This would then remove the devices migrated to the Sonoff controller and only show the ones that remained attached to deCONZ. Rather brute-force, but it worked for me.
