It applies to both apple and android.
Our phones are not updated with the latest changes. For example I have 2 integrations Tuya and Withings. Those integrations needs reconfigurations after a couple of restarts. It works fine in a browser, but in our phones it still tells that they are not configured. This means that all the entities shows up with error on the phones, not in a browser, even on the phone.
Also I’m use to changes made on my profile on the web will update on the phone as well. For excample changing the start screen.
I recently moved from NAS to Linux Ubuntu server with Core 2024.10.2. Right now I have no clue what to do.
why is that? sounds like the actual underlying issue, integrations should not be reconfigured that often. Maybe if a password changes but thats about it.
where are you looking for the entities the same URL on phone and browser should show same data unless there is a random caching issue. Check Developer tools > states to see what entities there are.
default start screen is device dependent, you need to set it on each device under user profile
Thank you dshokouhi for taking the time to reply.
Point taken with the device setup on the home screen
It’s really odd what I’m experiencing. First of all, I can see complains about withibgs and tuya integration needs to be reconfigured often, so I think that will be resolved at some point, it’s still odd to me that the companion app don’t catch when it’s actually is working.
Previous I was running an old HA, without those issues, and maybe some updates also confuses me.
- I’m not able to log in through my local IP in the companion app, if I try to translate into English it tells me something like: your login has been taken back, please sign in again. I can only use Nabu Casa to get access, maybe something is stuck in that
Never the less, og I test on my cell browser, compared to the companion app, where you can see one shows integration errors, and the other don’t:
