Entities from custom components don’t appear in the app.
The list of supported entities is hardcoded now and I don’t see that changing anytime soon, so yeah, custom components won’t be supported

Then I wouldn’t be using the app a lot, because half of my entities are custom components :s
We can add support for custom components as long as they fall within one of the existing component types (i.e. sensor).
What are some of the custom components you are using?

furthermore I’m using a custom component for my alarm, I’m using a custom version of the proximity component, of the plex component, I have a custom component to track the battery level of my idevices and a custom platform for icloud tracking instead of just a device tracker
