I upgraded my HA instance last night and since then HA cannot see my sonos media player. Anybody have that issue.
I can confirm Sonos players do work with 0.60. Occasionally I have issues with the entity_namespace not being used and my entities don’t appear on the front end as intended but a restart usually works
I’ve got 12 sonos and no issues with them at all after .60 upgrade. Or before.
Make sure soco at .13
Pip3 install —upgrade soco
Thank you for your feedback. So far I’m still unable to get HA to see my sonos. I’ve created a device_tracker for it and I’m able to see its status on HA. Althought, i’ve got to say that I’m getting this error.
In media player do you just have platform: sonos?
In the beginning i had it like this:
- platform: sonos
then i changed it to: - platform: sonos
hosts: 192.168.11.xx
name: sonos
after that i changed it to: - platform: sonos
interface_addr: 192.168.11.xx
An so far none of these options worked for me
Ok. I just have the first one. Sometimes I’ve had to reboot all the sonos. Do you see them all listed in your router and have no issues outside ha?
I currently have 1 hardwired and the rest not. Only because I have a ubiquity network and hardwiring more than one causes issues with spanning Tree. Other than that I’m not really sure…
Forgot when I reboot them I will unplug them all them plug the hardwired in and wait for it to settle down the plug the others in. I can see my network shows all sonos look like they are connected to the same port on that switch that has the 1 connected sonos. They are using sonosnet.
I’ve only one sonos connect amp directly connected to a ubiquity 24 ports poe switch then to a custom made linux router( pfsense). Right before i upgraded my HA to 0.60 from 0.59.2, the sonos was working. It stopped broadcasting notifications right after the upgrade.
I can control the sonos through the app on my phone or on windows pc and it is working fine.
