Mixed up history, due to code error, how long its its life expectancy?

Hi there,

so I had created a custom sensor, and, as usual, I got some stuff wrong so the sensor got

true
false
0 to 100%

as history now.

When I now add a history graph in lovelace, I see the bar, and not a graph, of course, you can’t display true and falls on a graph.

My question is, how do I delete it, or does it have a “life expectancy” and gets dropped anyway a few days down the road. If so, how long down the road? If its more than say 1-2 days, how could I delete this?

My research retarding this issue came up with, delete all history. But well, I consider migrating my liteSQL to Maria, not just dumping it and start fresh over, I think that says it all, I really don’t want to delete it all.

Thanks
Manne

edit: I could not find that sensor in my statistics tab in devtools.

You could rename the sensor.
You can delete the Home Assistant db file.
You can wait longer than you recorder history lasts, I think it’s 10 days as standard.

I’ll go with renaming and go back in half a month when i sorted out my code
