I have my doorbell setup with homeassistant and want to get a message on my phone when the doorbell is triggered. I have an automation setup that just sends a push notification. It seemed to work fine but it tourned out that about 30% of the time the message only arrives after approximately 30 minutes or as soon as the phone is unlocked. Battery optimization is disabled for the mobile app. I’am on a Google Pixel 7 Pro. I’d also be open to an alternative to the homeassistant app for receiving messages as its just incredibly annoying to have the message arrive minutes lates sometimes.
