I have the mobile location set up on our phones. We have 3 phones all of them Samsung Galaxy range.
they’re basically not updating properly. Child would go to school all day and the location would show as home. I have checked items such as battery saver and disabled them.
I found that if they open the home assistant app then the location would be updated immediately but otherwise it would not
I even set up high accuracy mode and it is now still showing a location from 4 hours before
I had same issue (iphone) after update to ios 18 GPS was not accurate and the app didn’t work. I reset the location and privacy in ios. Seems to work… But I don’t know if you’re using a iPhone also.
The problem device is an android. In the sensors geolocation sensors it actually has the address of the correct location.
And then if you look at the map it is stuck at home.
The same device, one part search the correct location and the other part shows wrong in the map
I’m noticing this is happening with some users but not all the users. It just happens to be the kids phones which are not tracking although everyone is using Android
