Mobile provider blacklisting duckdns.org

My mobile provider (O2 in the UK) is blackisting *.duckdns.org . I used a personal subdomain to provide a dynamic dns service with letsEncrypt support to access my HA server remotely. I used the DuckDNS add-in to help me with this. Since I can’t do that anymore can anyone recommend an alternate add-in I can use with HA that allows me to do the same thing ?

Dont know about an ‘add-in’, but you can use any dynamic DNS service for this. The setup is pretty straight forward. TBH, VPN setup is probably more secure anyway. I’d look into setting up wireguard depending on your usecase.

They switched me over from Virgin to O2 and I think I am having the same issue. I cannot access my HA from O2 mobile number (where it works fine when on WiFi). I am using same Addons as you. Have you found a work around yet?
Funny thing is, when I restart a phone it works for few minutes, then stops.

I gave up with the LetsEncypt and DuckDNS.I switched over to using a Cloudflare tunnel instead and that works for me. I followed the guidance on ‘Everything Smart Home’ , its a little out of date but eventually I figured it out

Freenom doesn’t work anymore. Did you manage to get domain with them before they shut down or did you use something else?

Got a cheap one from GoDaddy
