there is currently a hacs add-on. But doesnt seem to be an official Feature Request.
HACS doesn’t have add-ons like that or generally add-ons at all.
HACS provides and index and links to things in Github provided by software authors.
If there is a specific custom_integration that you are trying to emulate, you should mention it directly to give people a reference and example to what you are trying to get someone ro write for you.
