Modern wall mount dashboard for HA?

Not really sure where to post this, but I was wondering if anyone knows how/what I can do to get a wall mounted touch dashboard for my smart home? All I need it to do is maybe tell me the weather and allow me to control my lights and thermostat…
I want it to look modern and clean like material design.

Any ideas? I plan to run it on an old Acer a500 or nexus 7.

Thanks

Have a look around this forum, there are several Dashboard options available which you can easily configure to your liking.

HADashboard https://community.home-assistant.io/c/third-party/hadashboard
Floorplan https://community.home-assistant.io/c/third-party/floorplan

There is as well a Node-Red Dashboard possible or even the MagicMirror system

and:

Sorry, I missed the TileBoard :sunglasses: … but it is on my task list to be checked-out

Like others have said, check out TileBoard, HADashboard, and Floorplan. I’d also check out some of the new Lovelace stuff that’s being worked on.

I recently switched from HADashboard to TileBoard and I’m really liking it so far. Runs great on my 8" Kindle Fire tablets.

thanks guys… tileboard looks great, but looks hard to set up? Also not sure how it would look on a 10" tablet…

Don’t be scared by the setup. It looks more complex than it is, just follow the instructions. I installed it last night and running it on my 10.1" samsung tablet. Looks great so far, but I have only configured the basic features only

Lovelace UI allows add image and overlay sensor, switch ,etc on that at specific location. You can create “floorplan” like ui easily with that.

FYI there’s now also Home Panel.
A little less flexible than TileBoard, but similar looking and extremely easy to setup.
