Hi, not sure how many others have played around with these switches yet (I’ve seen a few mentions), but I just got a couple connected via z2mqtt, and while in general I’m pretty happy with them, it hasn’t resolved one thing I’ve been struggling to accomplish with past switches (most recently a BSEED zigbee dimmer).
I’m finding it impossible to reliably set the brightness on power on. i.e. say I always want the light to default to 40%, regardless of the level it was previously set to. I can set up an automation to set the brightness value on power on, and the z2mqtt status page shows the now-set brighness, but the lights themselves will turn on the the most recently used brightness - not what was just commanded via z2mqtt.
I have the feeling this is related to the slight dim-up behavior on power on, and I’m not if there’s any way to override this? I tried setting a transition time but that property doesn’t seem to be supported (maybe that requires a separate bug report).
