Have you any further thoughts? I know you have spent a lot of time on this already 
Sorry, I don’t understand the screen shot you sent, I select this every time I try a connect, so I am not clear what you are suggesting?
I noticed today that tuya_local had an update and was really excited to see if it fixed my connection to my MOES thermostat, sadly it did not.
I know you responded a lot to my query but this is one more attempt to see if you can help? Many thanks Dave
