Hi folks,

I again made the mistake to think that all zigbee devices would work with HA :see_no_evil:

I bought this little champ: https://amzn.eu/d/e9VylVb

I’d upload photos of it, but the forum won’t let me.

I tried adding it via my HA Sky Connect /ZHA, but it can’t be found.

I guess I’d have to send it back, right? Or does anyone have a suggestion what I could try? Any other cool 4-button switch that works with zigbee? :thinking:

I have a dozen of them working with Z2M

Is it correct that I should push 1 button for ten seconds and then they all start blinking together for like a minute, which indicates they should be pairable?

I’m not sure, it’s in the manual.

Gosh, I had to restart the pi / HA… Now it’s working…

I have a Moes one button switch. Pairing was easy. Problem with zigbee2mqtt is that it only reports battery status. No action available. Pretty useless.

I bought a similar one:

I also have only the battery in HA.
Removed and paired it multiple times from/in Zigbee2MQTT and even the battery from the switch.
I also restarted HA multiple times.

Zigbee2MQTT says its a ZT-SR-EU4.
MOES site says its a ZT-EU4-WH-SR.

How to get this thing working?

Both you and @janneniemensivu need to enable the legacy action sensors from the Z2M config.

Those sensors were disabled by default since the beginning of this year, so newbies are mostly unaware that the action referenced in the docs is legacy stuff.

Alternatively, go with the recommended or experimental way of using MQTT device triggers or event triggers in order to future-proof your automations to a certain extent.

But I don’t get how to configure that “MQTT device trigger (recommended)” in HA now.

Do I need this two SLZB-06M integrations?

All my sensors and my Philips Tap Dial Switch just worked until now, so I did not add them.

Do I also need to change my other devices (sensors/switch) because of this deprecation?

For anyone searching in the future, these are the buttons to hold for 10secs (more like 12-15 by my count) to enter pairing mode:

Using ZHA, double press isn’t working, only single and long (5sec).
