Monitor and graph

*Hi

Completely new to HA … I’m looking into the possibility of setting up software to monitor and then graph (say) a temperature.

I’m know there are many ways to achieve this and that the task may seem simple but in fact rapidly grows may arms and legs.

I’m simply after some direction - how would this be achieved with HA ?*

The simplest is to use the graph card and that’s it.
If you want to retain data for a longer time frame then look into influxDB and Grafana:
