Just in case you’re using mosquito broker app, or add on, or whatever they call it now a days. This mornings update of mosquito broker to version 7.0 broke my nabu casa connection and i could no longer access home assistant remotely via nabu casa in browsers, companion app etc. Rolled back to ver 6.5.2 of mosquito broker got me going again. I have not as yet had a chance to look at logs, or raise an issue in github
The update didn’t break my HA-Yellow with remote access via VPN
It’s not like the 2 things are related in any way.
It would be more likely a router, ISP DNS, or other network related thing.
I know right. Just sharing my experience. Havent had a chance to debug yet. Rol back to mosquito 6.5.2 got it going again
Hmm, this is not something we’ve been seeing on the Nabu Casa support end at all. I’d expect many more tickets to go along with such an issue and there haven’t been any.
I updated the broker when the update appeared and didn’t notice any issues.
Does updating it break it again?
Ill give it another go when mosquito v 7.0.1 is released, as it (7.0.1) fixes some issues others (not related to nabu casa) have encoutered with the 7.0.0 update
Mmmm, odd, i ran the mosquito update again, and mosquito version 7.0.0 and nabu casa seem to all be functional
Something must have glitched in the update to ver 7, as when i re ran it functions fine. There may well have been other fallout of the update maybe not going through in its entireity, however i only noticed nabu casa, and that was enouigh for me to roll back to 6.5.2 this morning. however this afternoon, V7.0.0 is running fine, and nabu casa is functional
