I installed the Mosquitto add-on for HA OS.
The recommended way to create a user seems to be to just create a home assistant user. However, I can’t find specific info on the user creation process and if the user should be set as administrator.
I used the following settings for the new user:
New Person
Name: Mosquitto
Allow user to log in: check
Username: mosquitto
Password: ********
Can only login from local network: check
Administrator: I did not check this…
Does it need to be an administrator?
