Awesome that there’s a super simple motion-activated Light, but to be useful it really needs some logic in there (as an option?) to only respond to motion after sunset.
I’m sure it’s not too hard to edit the YAML to do this, but I’d like to see if someone has solved what seems like an obvious need already?
Does anyone have a version that does this?
Can you link the blueprint you’re using? What you’re asking is easily achievable within a regular automation as well though.
It’s likely the sample one provided with HA.

Yes, there are several that just tweak one or 2 things. If you have not figured out how to search for them, my suggestion is to take one with your parameters added and select take control. You will then have a full-up automation that you can tweak around the edges yourself.

Best bet is to just stop using that blueprint. I used it myself and It was so handy, but since I’ve switched to building my own in the UI, I wouldn’t consider that blueprint at all now.
