Are you doing this on purpose?
The only thing I want from this software is to detect movement (when I’m not at home).
Devolo motion detector: Motion detection does not work (without spending days on it before it somehow works)
Motioneye: Motion detection does not work (by itself, been trying for days to get it to work somehow)

Motioneye: detects once in awhile motion, agreed. Don’t blame HA, blame motioneye.
But a dedicated motion sensor should work, but without telling what Devolo motion sensor or how it is integrated, we can’t help.

After all,
it starts to work in principle.
I just couldn’t figure out how exactly to capture this event motioneye.motion_dedectet.
With the Devolo motion detectors my problem was that “Motion dedection” still doesn’t work and I had to go for “Sensor state (motion)” instead.
