Hi all, I’m looking for a motion sensor and wall switch that meets the following demands:
1 No neutral relay/smart electronic switch that can be operated with a dumb switch
2 Motion sensor with illumination sensor built in
3 Switch and sensor support direct binding
4 Complies with EU/CE regulations
5 Works with Zigbee protocol and ZHA
It’s nothing fancy, I just want the hallway light to go on and off automatically when I come in and leave. I have similar setups elsewhere in my home with an IKEA Vallhorn sensor and Sonoff ZBMINIL2. Unfortunately, the Sonoff does not support direct binding, and the reaction time between walking in and light turning on is just under a second. That may not sound like much but is is very noticeable. So I hope to solve this with direct binding. It’s also nice that that works even if my HA instance is down for whatever reason.
I don’t find it easy to find in specs whether or not switches support direct binding.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
