Motion sensor (but without Motion)

Hello there!

I’m searching for a sensor that detects presence (not only if there’s motion but also if there’s just a person in ther room that isn’t moving). My two options are:

  1. Directly wired to mains (over Wi-Fi or ZigBeee)
  2. Battery powered (over ZigBee)

My end goal is to have light fully automated in my house, eg. Someone enters the room, light turns on. Someone leaves the room, light turns instantly off.

Someone posted a thermal camera setup that seemed to be very accurate.
Do a search for it.
I believe it was 8x8 pixel thermal camera.
