I’m a newbee, and I thought I made some significant progress. I’'ve narrowed my problem down to not understanding motion sensors. I’m using node red for a light automation. I have an event node tied to a motion sensor. I have a debug node tied to the event node. I don’t have any exceptions checked.
I thought I would receive a message in the debug node every time the sensor detected motion even if the state didn’t change. It’s not doing sending the message. What gives? I guess I just don’t understand.
Please help.
