Motorhome UI [integration with Victron, Yale Alarm]

Hi

I haven’t developed anything just used integration already available - it’s just to show my progress and also thanks all the people that helped me and developed the integration I used (+ all the HASS devs of course!)

My UI has

  1. Power card (using GitHub - reptilex/tesla-style-solar-power-card: Home assistant power card mimicking the one tesla provides for the powerwall app. )
reporting grid quality (in volts), current consumption limiter, ac and dc loads
  2. Generator control panel (using GitHub - custom-cards/button-card: ❇️ Lovelace button-card for home assistant )
reporting a countdown of use, runtime, reasons of start (manual or automatic based on conditions such State of charge), automatic timer (1h, 2, 3, 4h preconfigured)
  3. A panel dedicated to consumptions
reporting my battery and thanks autonomy
  4. A picture-elements card summarising
the status of my alarm and all the door/flaps contacts (using Yale Smart Living - Home Assistant )
status of the tanks and starter battery of my motorhome

Hope you’ll like it and happy to hear feedbacks

Hello
What do you use to monitor the starter battery?

Andre

hi @PW43575

I have a Victron charger dedicated to the starter battery - so I could gather these info either from VRM or via MODBUS.

Alternatively you could use a BMV or a simple Battery Sense. This last one is only BT so to be able to integrate you would need an BT MPPT, configure there BT networking so that battery readings would be available through VRM or MODBUS.

and here’s a new dashboard being used on my pioneer autoradio (android headunit) - I only needed driving info on this so:

  • tpms info (featuring apex chart)
  • genset and lte control
  • tank levels
  • spotify status and control
