I am a long time user of HA. In particula it means handicapped life a whole lot more accessible. I am currently looking for a way to put my windows up and down with the push of a button. The only solution I found so far is

although I don’t am not too comfortable with the amount of typos on that site. Is anyone aware of any other options?
You need to research a bit more.
You problem will be the torque required in your situation, like do the motor have to hold the window open and how much pressure will the wind put on it too.
You need a stepper motor to know how open or closed the window are, unless you want to only have it fully open/closed or controlled by visual inspection. Fully open/closed means some kind of sensors to stop the motor in each end position.
You probably need a pretty powerful motor to even open the window, which probably also means a hefty gearing of a metal gearbox on the motor. The gearbox will make the torque higher, but make the speed go down. The trick is to find a motor that is powerful enough to still have an acceptable speed when the required torque is reached with the gearing.
You especially need holding torque, because that is what prevents the motor from slipping. Here the gearbox will help a lot, but a permanent magnet motor will increase the holding torque also. Without permanent magnets the setup might be too low on holding torque when the motor is shutdown and you have to shutdown the motor will use electricity all the time, get hot and eventually burnout fast.
