Mounting internal ssd in HAOS for use in Plex

I installed HAOS on an old Optiplex 7040m. HAOS is on a NVMe ssd and has Plex as an AddOn. I would like to use the sata ssd as my media drive for plex, however Plex doesn’t see the sata ssd when I’m attempting
to add media sources to it in the UI. I assume that it needs to be mounted but I can’t seem to figure out how to do it. I have done the cursory Google searching but still no luck. I did find something promising but it required root access. However, the Configuration panel (as required in the instructions) seems to be missing.

If anyone has any info that could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello.

Thank you for this but this seems to be mounting from a network location. Would I follow this to mount a drive that physically installed in the same box (but different drive) as HAOS and not over the network?

Change the shell command to mount your drive.

You should be able to find the device name in Settings → System → Hardware → ⋮ → All Hardware

Hi,
you wrote couple of years ago:

that it is limitation of hass.io, is it still true, there is no way to connect mounted local/network drive to Plex running as addon?

sudo not working in haos

That is a two year old post. Home Assistant has changed considerably since then. However I suspect you are not at the command prompt but are in fact at the HA CLI.

Two year old, but still not solved? I installed homeassistant on a VM in Proxmox. How can I use a second disk in the homeassistant vm?
