Move SD card from pi zero to pi 3B+

I want to move my SD cards from a pi zero to a pi 3B+.

Is it enough to simply put in the card or should I reinstall operating system.
Will my old operating system automatically adapt to the capability of the 3B+?

Thanks!

The images for the pi zero and 3B+ are different.

  • Take a snapshot of your pi zero, copy it off the card.
  • Install the new (32 bit!) image for the pi 3B+ on the card.
  • Install SSH or SAMBA addon.
  • Copy across the previously saved snapshot.
  • Refresh the snapshot page (top right).
  • Restore the snapshot.

Sry, I wasn’t clear enough. I’m not talking about a hassio install.

I’m talking about a stretch lite install (running pihole).
