Moving from Raspberry Pi 4 2gb onto 4gb

Hello,

Currently, my HAOS is running off a Raspberry Pi 4 with 2 GB RAM.
I may have a spare Pi 4 with 4 GB ram laying around, and was wondering if simply swapping the SD card over would work?

Or do i need to do a clean install + restore?

Yup, as you’re moving to the same basic model you can just swap the SD card over

Hello,

I’m in a similar situation, but I have an SSD.
I intend to upgrade from an RPi 4 with 2GB to an RPi 4 with 4GB.
Can I simply swap the SSD?

Yes, but make sure the new pi is set to boot from SSD first.
