Another Vera refugee here. Been running a vera3 for like 9 years. Eventually it will die so I figured I’d start researching the migration to HA.
My devices are straightforward, dimmers, motion, locks.
Plugins are my worry… adb2usb for alarm, kodistate, vacation ghost, etc.
It seems like I can add Vera but what’s the best way to move things over?
I have HA running on an old cheap machine and have a Zooz 800 stick on the way.
I assume there are tons of questions on this already so if there are a few that make sense to read, let me know.

I don’t have any experience with Vera. I migrated from Insteon / ISY a few years ago and I would recommend trying to move one device at a time and see how it works.
I also recommend reading this:

Wow! I only lasted about 2 years, maybe less before I threw mine in the bin.
I would just re-pair the devices to this new stick in the HA machine, then re-create your automations to suit.
