"Moving" the default view to another tab

I’m trying to modify the UI to have a more streamlined default view. I understand how I can modify the default view to exclude what I don’t want.

However, I still want to be able to access the functionality of the default view, with all my sensors and stuff, for instance, when troubleshooting. I just don’t want this as the start view, but as a separate “ALL” tab or so.

I’ve searched the forum and net, but there seems to be no way of doing this…? I’ve tried unhiding and adding e.g. group.all_switches, but there’s no “all sensors” nor a zwave group. :frowning:

I’ve tried applying the order attribute to the groups, but that does not seem to be applied to tabs (or I’m doing it wrong). :frowning:

People have been asking for this feature for as long as I’ve been part of this community.

Devs don’t seem to see the use case for some reason.

At the moment the only way to do this is to comment out your default view when troubleshooting and then re-enable when finished :+1:

Has there been any updates on this recently? It seems like a fairly straightforward change to make.

I’m looking to do the exact same thing. At the very least, an “All” page at the END of the list rather than it’s ugly messiness being the default. But what I would probably like even more is an “Unsorted” page, which shows all entities not otherwise filtered into other views.

Have been waiting for something like this also. I like my own ordered tabs. but to have an “All” tab for all the rest would be awesome

just wanted to know if anyone figured this out yet?

I will add my vote for this. Default view is best for debugging, so it is great to have around, but we should be able to make it not show up as the default first view.

Great idea, I’d make first tab as “remote control” cause it’s first to open on phone and put all the rest to other tabs

Is there feature request here?
