MQTT component to open/close skylight with dynamic position

Hi there,

anyone with an idea/inputs for a custom MQTT skylight component that can be opened to a user specific position using a slider from the UI?

I have looked at the MQTT cover component - it does not support a custom position, but it has tilt instead - and I can’t seem to figure out how to make my own customized copy for a MQTT skylight component.

Might be able to add the position functionality as done with the brightness in this example…
