MQTT Home Assistant does not automatically find devices

Hi,
I created a new Home Assistant instance on my new NUC. It is set up in VM virtualbox.
The first thing I wanted to do is attach one lightbulb. With I flashed with Tasmota 9.2.0 (lite)
Preformed cmd command : setoption19 1 to be discoverable

I installed the Mosquitto broker and kept the configuration untouched
And added the MQTT integration and created A user (mqttuser) and password in Configuration > User .
Also installed the integration ‘ Tasmota’ don’t know if this was necessary.
If I look in the LOG I see that a new client is connected, this is the IP of my lightbulb, so should think this is OK. But I cant find this entity anywhere,…it is not mentioned under ‘ entities’ !??

<LOG:

1612534793: New connection from 192.168.2.29 on port 1883.
[INFO] found mqttuser on Home Assistant
1612534794: New client connected from 192.168.2.29 as DVES_973850 (p2, c1, k30, u'mqttuser').

You are right, this log means the switch has connected to mqtt broker. Its better to use tasmota integration to connect these devices than mqtt. For that to work you have to set the setoption19 to 0 and not 1. Then restart the tasmota device and see if HA tasmota integration discovers the new device.

Thank you Sheminasalam,
I tried this with two tasmotized devices, but none of them show up in Home Assistant .
Don’t know what is going wrong here…

I don’t think tasmota lite has discovery built in. You need a different version.

You need to upgrade to the full Tasmota. Lite does not have autodiscovery.

OK updated to 9.2.0 but still not discovered by home assistant
Is it necessary to add MQTT IP and login?
