I have home assistant installed within docker on my asustor nas, it was installed from the app store and was straightforward.
I’ve managed to get hacs etc installed but when trying to get mqtt installed so that I can monitor computer functions and Nas storage etc it just doesn’t seem to work.
I followed a tutorial to install mqtt in docker and it seems to have installed fine it shows up using mqtt explorer which also shows my computer which has the hass agent installed, I can even see my ha within the explorer but my computer isn’t popping up as a new device within ha and when I try and add it manually it says it needs to be detected to have full functionality. Has anyone got this working on a similar device or is there anything I can share to find where I am going wrong?
