MQTT LED Dimmer hardware

Hi,
I am looking for some hardware to dim 12V LED strips. I’m over trying to DIY this thing because I don’t have the proper tools like oscilloscope or knowledge to do it in a reasonable time. Besides, the result would be very DIYish.

Unfortunately, the Sonoff dimmer has been retired.

These are the requirements:

  • MQTT control enabled (do not want to go through some thirdparty hub or app)
  • input 12v or main
  • output 12v for LED, with smooth dimming
  • should be flashable and tosmata firmware compatible (if possible)
  • should not require a third party app or hub

I am looking for commercial products overall (not limited to LED dimmer) but I dont want to be locked in to one vendor like Samsung smartthings. The protocols should be open and common like MQTT and it should be hackable, i.e. i want to be able to flash custom firmware (nice to have)

Im using this on all my sonoffs. I’m after an led controller that runs this firmware

Hi, I did read that article, that one seems to be for wall mounting and includes some features I dont need and just make it more expensive.

The other one I found was this one, 20USD is pretty expensive considering sonoffs go for $5. It is AC 240V as well, Most LED strips are 12V or less.

Thanks, I have been on that page hundreds of times and just assumed it’s for sonoffs only.

Bought the above and it should work perfectly because it’s a supported device.
