morning.
Ive been following bruh automation and really like the look of the MQTT leds he fitted to his house.
Previous to this i had found a guide on creating a strip of LEDS connected to arduino with a motion sensor at each end. This was fitted to the stairs so that when you passed the sensor and began to climb the stairs the LED’s would appear to follow you up the stairs and light the way.
What I can’t find though is anything that does both.
Basically i’d love to be able to control the lights via Home Assistant and MQTT so i could show off a bit, but then also when you begin to either walk up or down the stairs id like the same “follow me” effect.
Is this possible?
Ive got ws2812B LED’s, NodeMCU, and some PIR sensors.
