Mqtt without state_topic

Hello, is there another way to get mqtt sensors to HA only with the help of state_topic and perhaps also to list them under devices in Mqtt.
I have a WR that I read out using a Modbus adapter and can see it in the MQTT Explorer. But would like to see this as a device in HA Mqqt.

What is a WR?

Mqtt integrations are listed here:

https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/#search/Mqtt

Pick an appropriate one.

Hello, I’m already using an integration (Solarman) but it’s not really reliable when I look at the logs in HA, it’s a China Cloud solution and it keeps failing. I have a Deye that I can read using an ESP Modbus adapter and I also have the values in Mqtt Explorer but it is very tedious to create all the sensors in the (state_topic) yaml.

Please do not post pictures of text.

if you want these to show up in a single device, you have to add the yaml to your configuration that describes the device. It’s covered in the mqtt discovery documentation for sensors.

If you had an example for me, I’ve already looked but somehow I’m sitting too close to see it.
