Hi there,
At the moment I’m using multi-protocol (Zigbee/Thread) on my Sonoff USB Dongle-E but I read that this option will be removed from Home Assistant in the near future.
To be prepared I bought another Sonoff Dongle-E and installed the Thread firmware on the stick. I tested the stick (on a test environment) and it is working great.
So I’m planning to put this stick into my rapsberry USB port, configure thread and use that Dongle-E exclusive for thread.
Then I want to flash my Multi protocol Dingle-E witg Zigbee 8.x firmware and use that Dongle-E exclusive for ZIgbee, as advised by Home Assistant.
My question is, do I need to pair all Zigbee device again when I replace the firmware in the Multi protocol DOngle-E with Zigbee Firmware.
I own more the 50 Zigbee devices and have a lot of Automation/Scene attached to those Zigbee devices.
I love the multi-protocol, never had any problems, so I hate it to change to two seperate dongle-e but because HA is stopping to support multi-protocol I have to.
Please advise.
