Hey, first time poster here.
I’m interested in setting up my loft apartment (about 1000 square feet) so that I can comfortably talk on the phone or Microsoft Teams / Zoom anywhere in the house. I have Sonos multi-room audio configured but I don’t think Sonos allows you to access the microphone for custom integrations. I thought of using my computer to output the audio to Sonos via Bluetooth. However, I need guidance on how to add microphones throughout the apartment and which microphones I should invest in. Basically, like a multi-room microphone system.
The perfect hardware would:
- Be able to turn on based off of presence detection (optional)
- Either work well with Sonos Bluetooth audio without any echoing or have an audio speaker and a microphone
- Achieve highest possible audio quality
- (Important - Main concern) Support multi-room microphones
Basically, I’m looking for the Sonos system of multi-room microphones (with audio output if Sonos doesn’t make sense since I’m pretty sure they made an internal decision to not support stuff like this).
