There are several calendar cards on HACS, and they are good, but none had quite delivered what I needed. I’m a visual person, and a list of events did not tell me at a glance:
- How long are the events?
- Where are they relative to “now”?
- How do they relate to each other in time?
- How are tomorrow’s events distributed?
So I asked my dear LLM agent, R2-D2, to create such a card for me. After using it for a couple of months, we ironed out the rough edges, and it has become an irreplaceable part of my home dashboard. Now I’m happy to share Multiday Calendar Card. It is not revolutionary: his is the kind of calendar view you already have on your Apple, Google, or Microsoft calendars. But I’m very excited to bring that kind of view to a Home Assistant dashboard.
