Anybody else experiencing having multiple battery sensors stemming from the iOS app?
I got the same issue. Somehow one device had ben registered two times. O got help by @robbiet480 to change in the ios.config file
I also have multiple devices. Where does that file reside?
Having the same problem also!
The iso.config file is located in the root of the home assistant dir
Thank you. I checked now, and it only says I have my ipad and my iphone, which is correct… I wonder why I have many instances of notify then. And several work too.
I saw that I had two devices for one phone in the config file. After @robbiet480 had removed one everything works fine.
It’s not that you have second devices in the known_devices file?
And what about the ‘known_devices.yaml’ file? Can you find multiple devices in there?
The iOS.config file seems to be the fix thanks guys
I don’t have a ios.config
, and I have 3 of one iPhone. It is very confusing.
Yep, had the same thing here after I renamed my iphone in the HA App. I had both the old and the new name versions showing up. Embarrassed to say that it took me some time to find the ios.conf file as it is a hidden file (i.e. “.ios.conf”) and wasn’t showing up with a standard ls. Deleting the duplicate entry and a restart fixed the situation.
Haha. I did the same thing.
