Multiple entities and meanings?

Hello.

I’ve just added a fibaro power plug, (this is not the only one but in my example):

When i add it i get TWO of the same parameter.

“sensor.plug_3d_printer_power” and “sensor.plug_3d_printer_power_2”.

Only the first one shows “good information” the second one shows some wierd data. In OZWCP it does not show two entities, why does HASS add multiple fields?

It same goes for smoke sensors, i get “smoke_2” and “smoke” where only one works, but i dont know which until i test stuff. It clogs my “system” where most stuff adds double fields?

So this goes not only for fibaro here is a philis:

sensor.philio_technology_corporation_pan071_two_spdt_switch_module_with_meter_current_2
sensor.philio_technology_corporation_pan071_two_spdt_switch_module_with_meter_current

Dont know until i test which one is real? Any tip, how can i get rid of it ? Is it a bug or ?

Well you can get rid of it in the zwave config bit, which creates a new file that just hides the entity from hass altogether. What those extra entities are I don’t know, but they’re pretty annoying.

Yeah i can hide it but it seems random which is the “real” one, on a device i have to use the _2 one, on the other device its the one without _2. Which makes setting up automation a pain in the ass since i have to “activate” every function on each device. So when i get a smoke sensor i have to set temp alert to 25 degrees, heat up to 25 degrees, then check values and stuff from that, then go back and activate the fire alarm, then check values which one is “the real”.

Must be a bug somewhere? Anyone has a idea?
