hi
just recently my node red flows are extremely slow to respond. especially motion lighting.
I am not sure how to debug this but looking i have 
multiple home asisstant configs going on for some reason.
Any other tips to work out why the flows are so slow?

Node-red makes it really easy to find these configs remove them and merge over the nodes. Doing that has fixed my slowness issue.
This usually happens from importing another flow, use the scrubber before importing to avoid problems in the future.
