Multiple Home Network WiFi SSIDs

The app works great accessing my duckdns.org URL outside my network and accessing the interal connection URL when connected to my WiFi.
But since I have 2 SSIDs on my home network (one for 2.4 GHz, one for 5 GHz) it works only when connected to the SSID which is stated in the configuration.

Is it possible to specify multiple SSIDs in the app to handle such switches inside the same home network?

Oups! Available on iOS app but not currently in android app I think

Setup NAT loopback within your gateway router. Then you will be able to use your duckdns url when on your own WiFi. No need for checking ssids to use internal.

My router does not support NAT loopback. I am using NGINX at the moment to access my duckdns URL over https and my internal IP over http to be able to use Google TTS as well

Understood. So the option would be to look into a new router w/ NAT loopback in order to avoid this problem and (likely) remove need for running nGinX.

You could also name 2.4 and 5 wifi networks the same and trust your devices to pick the best signal, but I wouldn’t.

Simply have the Android app support multiple (comma separated) home SSIDs, it can’t be that hard, can it?

Well it needs to be built, there is an existing feature request for this but someone needs to code it.
