I want both the “onecall_hourly” mode and the “onecall_daily” mode, and I want them for three different locations. In total, that would be six different entries under my OWM integration, and each would have two services (the sensors, and the weather).
Unfortunately, when I try to add both for a single location, I get what appears to be an error message “Location is already configured” and it does not add a new entry.
Is this just not possible?
If you already have hourly, why would you need daily too? You already have the data…
Hourly only does three days out, while the daily does eight days. I use the hourly one for an 18hr forecast breakdown, while the daily is good for the week’s daily data.
The real answer is to use slightly different lat/long. At least the third decimal being different is good enough to not get blocked by the error message.
This is probably what I did originally and why I have had two all along for where I live.
