Hi
I’d like to know if RFLink integration allows to declare as many RFLink gateways as I have in HA ? or does it support only one RFLink by HA instance ?
Thanks

You can only have one rflink in HA. For my second RFlink I use this :
Thanks for the link, I had noticed these ways to connect RFLink to HA through network/MQTT but I’m not so sure why it needs an arduino between the RFLink board itself and the ESP ? Isn’t there a way to connect the ESP straight at the RFLink as basically it just transmits on network raw datas of RF commands
The Rflink board is the arduino. A Rflink board is an arduino mega with an 433 MHz receiver and transmitter attached. So just attach an extra ESP. Or use an arduino mega with integrated ESP, like the robotdyn.
Thanks a lot for explanations and then I think I don’t need to use RFLink as it looks to be too much hardware for what I need. I can just connect straight the little radio receiver at an ESP with ESPHome in it and it should do the same I think no ?
Maybe. The Rflink supports a lot of protocols. Depending on your needs, esphome may or may not do the job.
Well the multi-protocol part doesn’t interest me as I’ll decide a specific model of radio remote and always use that one Will give a try with ESP and share here once done results to see how it works !
