Im new to Home Assist - and I’ve an H801ESP device with 5 MOSFETS - on my Node-RED setup I use 3 for an RGB pergola light (12v LED strip) and 2 for simple LED STRIP DIMMERS. It LOOKS like I can’t have the one device do RGB PWM AND dimmes in HA which seems a backward move. I tried creating virtial MQTT devices but it’s beyond my current HA skills. I can fix it with 2 Sinilink ESP+MOSFET devices but it seems overkill when my NR setup already handles all of this in one controller - anyone any idea and if this is NOT possible would someone at HA consider aadding facility for moe than one RGB light per device?
Hi Pete, nice to see you here.
I use h801s here with esphome. It is very flexible. I am sure you could do what you are seeking.
Hi there - I got one RGB lamp and 2 relays out of it - it seems HA won’t allow me a 3-0c channel lamp and a pair of single channel dimmers. However I split the job over a pair of h801s and got a working solution… thanks. I am nwe to HA so maybe I missed something but the consensus says no… I put a bunch of wingle channel dimmers on one and the 3 channel RGB light and a couple of relays on the other.
