Muse-luxe as tts speaker

I have been using the https://voicemonkey.io/ for my announcements for some time with great success. Unfortunately this system does not work locally therefore I bought a https://raspiaudio.com/muse speaker. The initial setup works without any issues. I can play mp3 using the media player in home assistant and the sound quality is good for the small device.

But using the pico tts or google tts service is a hit and miss.

Either the last word is cut in the middle or I hear some additional interfering noise.

This is a pitty because streaming online radio works just fine without any interfering noise.

My tts config looks like this:

# Text to speech
tts:
  - platform: google_translate
  - platform: picotts
    language: "de-DE"

The Muse-luxe works perfectly with Nabu Casa TTS.

were you able to get further with this issue.
I recently got the raspiaudio muse proto as well and cannot get TTS to work. At best I get a single little pop sound. Spotify streaming works. mp3s via jellyfin are a stuttering hell that also will not stop anymore - only way to get control of the muse again is to unplug it and start it up again.

But I can live with only spotify and TTS. Just need to get TTS to work.

Are you using Squeezelite-ESP32 https://sle118.github.io/squeezelite-esp32-installer/ or ESPHome media player https://esphome.github.io/media-players/

I use squeezlite and the SlimProto Player integration.
