Hi, all my automation is in Node Red now, nothing in HA anymore. But if you need the NR flow i’ll be glad to share.
mmmm I’m not sure to go that path… I have zero experience with node red, but I agree to have all or most of the automation on the esp or an RPi. I’m now designing how to approach this project. For now, I was considering to go on ESPHome on a ESP32, reading temperature from HA, using the thermostat from esphome. I’m sure that the code will be not easy to write on debug, but it will be way more reliable than to have all mounted-on HA.
I was considering to use a RPi but that will be a hole different journey. I don’t know now, I’m on a cross road…
I don’t even know how to mount node red on RPi, what do I have to install and what not, how the RPi communicate with HA… ufff
