I have searched for a similar issue in the forums and elsewhere but nothing seems to match what I have just managed to do to my system. I run HA in docker and have been messing around with docker networks, getting reverse proxy to work so I can access my HA remotely. I struggled a bit but got it working then I noticed that all the history graphs on my dashboard are blank and the history dashboard itself produces no history for any device or entity.
I thought perhaps the database was corrupted by stopping the docker container without shutting down HA-core so I restored my entire system from lastnight’s backup but the problem persists.
If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.
What I observed sometimes was “graphs become flatlined”.
And the history reporting of all my enties is the same…shows nothing - not even a flat line
I wonder if history-graph uses a browser’s cache? (like some other custom graph cards)
May be you should try cleaning the cache?
You’re a genius! I tried a different browser and all is normal again. Who would have thought. Thank you so much. It seems so trivial but when your head is deep down the rabbit hole of docker networks and reverse proxies you sometimes miss the obvious. I’m so glad I stopped short of re-installing my entire system which was to be my next step.
Glad everything is back to normal))
I’ve learnt smth too)
