My Mobile Dashboard - Pure Core Lovelace

As a Community Contributor for the Home Assistant Frontend, I went on a mission to build the best Lovelace Dashboard I could while only using Core Lovelace features. Meaning no custom cards.

I started out a bit different than I ended, but while creating any ideas I had that I wanted to be better or added, I added them by creating a PR in the Frontend Repo and getting them merged.

This included the beautiful (in my opinion) new Weather Card, still in beta. (Still, some work to do, especially since Balloob broke the translations  Fixed in the next beta)

As well as adding the User Variable to the Markdown Card.

(Edit) - Also, The entity card addition was sparked from this mission

I built this dashboard using the UI Editors and only touching YAML (In the UI Editors) for special features in cards that haven’t received a UI editor for yet. Example, Card Footers.

It also leverages the new feature for Multiple Dashboards. It makes it super simple to create hidden pages only accessible via navigating from a button.

Let me know what you think. Give me suggestions. Give me features you think would be best for the core. Give me anything. I still have some improvements I want to make but I think I have a pretty good set up so far.

The Video messed with the Theme Colors for whatever reason. Here is a screenshot of the main dashboard.

Nicely done, it’s cool to see what can be accomplished with purely core cards. I really like the Markdown card with the user/date. And the new weather card is indeed beautiful
