I have been using HA for about a month now and decided to jump feet first into Node-Red with it. It has been a fun and challenging journey. It is somewhat hard to find good examples with the json for flows. So I have enabled projects in Node-Red and am publishing my stuff. I am just getting started, but have most everything I had in Smart Things working in HA/NR. I will continue to update. I hope someone finds this useful.
Example flows:
How many false washer/dryer announcements do you get with that flow. During the normal course of a normal wash cycle the power will fluctuate. Just curious is all as I had a lot of fiddling to get mine right. Thanks for the share there needs to be more of this.

I think I got it dialed in. So I am using the Sonoff S31 with Tasmota. I had to manually add them and set force_update for Watts and set it to report every 30 seconds. So far this has worked, but yes the washer has some weird cycles that I had to keep working through.

Are you using the power-monitor node? I’ve found it very effective as it has a threshold and time span, although I am luck in that my washer never drops to 0 at any part of the cycle. With that said, I still set the time span at a few seconds, just to make sure.
I didn’t would have made life easier however have it working like a charm now so I don’t want to mess with the status quo :). It includes status for idle, washing, finishing and clean. I then can reset the notifications upon door opening as I use a Xiaomi door sensor in conjunction with power monitoring.

I started with something like this then stumbled across the Power-monitor node and was like… ohhh ya…
ahhh I see you are not using a switch node but the power node man wish this was available when I started my flows.
