MyKo (LAP) Smart Lights

I’m brand new to HA and just figuring out how to connect things. I purchased some LAP down lights just before getting into HA and I can’t seem to find anyway to connect them. Anyone had any luck or have any ideas.

They are connected to the MyKo app and Alexa.

They clearly have wifi and Bluetooth but not sure if they are Zigbee compatible. Don’t really want to replace them if I can avoid it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello

got the same probléme i have 6 of this Mula smart light, how to added to home assistant please ?

It needs a CLOUD service to work, so IMO, avoid. B&Q has two plugs for the price of one, as seen yesterday in-store. I checked Myko out before dropping 15 quid - I did see this post yesterday so I’ve done some more digging before replying.

Agreed, I would very strongly avoid Myko products. Backend is built on Afero and it’s a really locked down system on purpose. Myko objective is to sell low cost, high volume devices to the mass to enable them to capture customer data, with no interest in open source communities like HASS.

I’ve done some research on the Myko I shared earlier, and I can now confirm that the device blocks a lot of things, making it impossible to reflash or modify the code.
